The centerpiece of the resort will be an open-air geothermal lagoon built on hot springs. The water temperature remains between 37-40°C throughout the year. The unique composition of the water promotes deep skin cleansing and overall health benefits. The geothermal springs will offer both indoor and outdoor facilities, connected into one large pool.
The “Sopka Goryachaya” resort is a mountain tourist village that will feature a complex of low-rise geothermal hotels. Due to its geographical location, the temperature in this part of the peninsula rarely drops below -20°C in winter, making it a comfortable destination year-round.
The cable car network provides resort visitors with the opportunity to enjoy sightseeing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking on specially designed trails, and access to the volcano crater.
The peak ski season in Kamchatka runs from late February to late April. The ski infrastructure will include 30 km of slopes and 3 lifts.
The geothermal lagoon utilizes all the benefits of the natural habitat of thermal springs. Water, cooled to a comfortable temperature, will flow directly from the springs into the pools and spa centers. The resort will offer a full range of balneological and spa services.
The mountain village will be built compactly with fully pedestrianized streets. All transport infrastructure will be hidden in the stylobate area. Only resort guests will be able to move along the promenade, while all equipment and service personnel will use the underground first and second levels.
The resort will have snow-melting systems for pedestrian walkways and the paths around outdoor pools, using natural heating by channeling hot water from thermal springs through underground pipes.
